Happy Holidays!

I’ve recently updated my cathairstudios.com website! Cat Hair Studios is a division of Susan Weller Design Studios and is pretty much my little personal playground for experimenting with photography and digital imaging.

I’ve been adding all my new, and some old, digital images including iPhone and iTouch wallpapers and backgrounds.

I’ve also have a section where anyone working on their own digital images can download some of my original textures and hopefully will be adding some tutorials as well.

New Prints Available!

I’ve recently been working on a new series of images that are now available as prints from my gallery.

The new image is called End of Summer and features a digitally enhanced photo of a Black Eyed Susan flower at the end of it’s days. The second print for sale features a end of season Thistle seed pod in a beautiful handmade ceramic vase. The title of the second print is One – A Still Life.

After a brief hiatus I’m back!

A lot of things can happen in over the years, some good, some bad. One of the unfortunate things to happen was the loss of both my cats, both came down with a form of cancer (different in both cases) and sadly I had to let them go. I loved them both, they had a very good (very pampered) life!

With them gone and being undecided about adopting another cat I’ve decided to keep the name of my studio in honor of the cat whose picture started it all (he’s now my official avatar) and his best buddy (geeze I’m crying…).

The good news is a long list filled with words like happy, health, safe and warm! Its what we all want right!

I’m still working as a full time designer, yea! I also accept freelance work via my main studio when I have the time, and now I’m throwing some digital imaging fun back into the mix.
